WHO ARE WE?
Our Story
The Heartland Pet Breeders Association is dedicated to supporting professional pet breeders, hobby breeders, and show breeders who are committed to the health and happiness of their animals. As a non-profit, voluntary organization, we offer education, support, and encouragement to those who are passionate about raising healthy, happy puppies.
Our mission is to ensure that breeders have access to the best resources and knowledge available. To achieve this, we strive to bring in expert speakers and educators from various fields. These experts share their valuable insights and experiences, helping our members stay informed and up-to-date on the best practices in animal care.
Members of the Heartland Pet Breeders Association have the opportunity to earn 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) per year. These CEUs are awarded through educational sessions taught by a diverse range of industry professionals, including veterinarians, pharmaceutical representatives, veterinary assistants, dog food company experts, state and USDA inspectors, and other industry leaders.
By participating in our programs, members can enhance their skills, broaden their knowledge, and ensure they are providing the highest standard of care for their animals. We are committed to fostering a community of responsible and knowledgeable breeders who prioritize the well-being of their pets.
